Subtract what doesn't fit.

BUILD THE BUSINESS
that does.

What if your business sustained you — instead of draining you?

"Everything works. It all just feels...

...HEAVY "

You built a thing that matters. It makes money. People depend on you and your perspective. But somewhere along the way, your business started accumulating more than it should: more offers, more tools, more decisions, more of you in every corner. You've become simultaneously the visionary, the fixer, the bottleneck, and the custodian. Congratulations. That's exhausting.

Now you're hearing yourself say things like:
"I can't make another decision this week."
"I probably should stop doing ______."
“I need systems”
"I'm out of balance."
"Nobody can do it the way I do."
"I don't even know if this is a business problem or a life problem anymore."

Sound familiar? Yeah. Me too.

What you actually want is simple: a business that makes money, doesn't bury you alive, and actually fits.

“His questions just arrive. Calm. Curious. Friggin’ surgical. In about an hour, Bryan gently but relentlessly broke through so many stories I’d been telling myself about my own business.”

— Cari, Chief Story Officer/Agency Owner

YOU’RE NOT FAILING.

You're carrying too much.

This isn't about doing less, delegating more, or finding another productivity hack to tape over the mess. (If one more person tells you to "streamline," you have my permission to throw something.) This is about finding the buried complications underneath the work — the borrowed goals, the outgrown instincts, the playbook you've been following that was never actually yours — and setting them down on purpose.

WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE:

  • Name the destination.

The business and life you're actually building. Not the one someone told you to build. Yours.

  • Find the buried complications.

The beliefs, habits, and identities you never consciously chose but have been running your business anyway.

  • Subtract them.

One at a time. Until the business stops fighting you and starts fitting.

Here’s what that could look like:

One client realized she'd been chasing someone else's definition of success. We subtracted the borrowed goal and rebuilt around the life she actually wanted. She created her own playbook for a business that's quieter, more sustainable, and hers. Another couldn't stop doing her team's work despite having good people around her. We found three buried beliefs underneath that habit. Once she subtracted them, she went from doing everything to actually leading. Her business started making money without her hands on every part of it.

"In my head you're the guy who comes along while I'm looking at my route on the map, smiles, then casually unfolds it so the hidden half is visible."

About Bryan

I hear what you’re
NOT SAYING.

Most people show up carrying the obvious stuff — too many decisions, not enough hours, a business that's working but heavy. Underneath that, there's usually something else: a quiet sense that the thing they built doesn't quite feel like theirs anymore. That's the part I listen for.

I started my career as an oral historian on a Hollywood studio backlot, working with Holocaust survivors. I learned to listen for what people say between the words. Then I spent years as a producer at Disney, where the job was to hold the vision and keep the whole thing moving — on budget, on time, and without losing the soul of the project. Now I do both. I listen for what's buried, and I help you build the business that fits what's actually true. I've also been self-employed since 2008, survived two business divorces (expensive ones), coached hundreds of endurance athletes, and been in recovery for six years. So when I say I understand what it's like to carry more than you should — I'm not guessing.
